A hire period is by prior arrangement either by the day, or by the function. The hirer is wholly responsible for all equipment from the time of delivery/collection until all the goods are returned and checked by our staff. This includes damage to goods in transit, fire, theft, vandalism, breakages and any other losses and it is in the hirers interest that the hire goods should be insured.
The hirer should ensure that the hire goods arrive in perfect condition and before returning check quantities and pack them in the same condition as received. All hired goods should be returned clean. Failure to do so will incur further charges at 50% of the total hire charge.
Damages/shortages must be reported immediately after the hire goods have been received whether delivered or collected. Goods not reported immediately will be charged for. No exceptions accepted.
Any discrepancies of goods not returned will have to be returned by the hirer at their own cost within 48 hours of notification of discrepancy. The hiring charges will continue until all goods are returned. We can not be responsible for the return of goods that do not belong to us and if not collected within 7-14 days they will be disposed of. Hired goods returned after this date will not be credited.
Goods must not be removed from the delivery/function premises without our prior permission.
Unconfirmed/provisional orders will be cancelled 14 days before the function date unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellations only accepted up to 10 days prior to the function date no cancellations will be accepted during December. Full hire charges will be implemented for cancellations other than those stated.
Alterations (minor only) will be accepted up to 72 hours before the delivery date i.e. 9am Tuesday for a Friday delivery.
Delivery/collection is by prior arrangement and to a ground floor situation only to the nearest point of discharge or collection. Porterage charges will be implemented if the delivery/collection point is other than stated. No responsibility for damage to property etc. will be entered into in situations other than stated. The hirer must be available to accept delivered or collected goods on the appointed date. If the hirer is not available the goods must be collected or returned from or to our warehouse by the hirer.
Inclement weather- no responsibility can be accepted for goods not arriving on time owing to adverse road conditions or for any reason beyond our control.
Should our transport be held up on site for an unreasonable period of time, a time charge of £20.00 per hour after the first 15 minutes will be implemented.
Time does not allow us to check all goods for return on site. A request for checking goods on site must be made when ordering. The cost will be £20.00 plus £20.00 per hour after the first 15 minutes. In all instances all goods must be cleaned and free from food and function debris.
No third party invoicing will be entered into, the person who orders is wholly responsible for payment, receiving and returning hired goods.
Charges for hire are as follows:
One day: price per item per day, Subsequent days: 50% of first days hire
Longer term hirings by arrangement. Delivery and collection charges are made on all orders. A minimum charge of £20.00 for delivery and collection or according to distance. A firm price is given when ordering.
